FX’in popüler dizisi The Bear, sadece mutfağı değil, karakterlerinin stille kurduğu kişisel anlatılarıyla da izleyicilerin beğenisini topladı. Carmy’nin beyaz tişörtleri, Marcus’un bereleri, Richie’nin takım elbiseleri gibi her biri kendi ritminde giyinen karakterlerin arasında, Ayo Edebiri’nin canlandırdığı Sydney Adamu’nun tarzı özellikle öne çıkıyor. Dikkat çekmek için çaba harcamayan, ama her sahnede kendini gösteren işlevsel, bireysel ve yaratıcı bir stile şahit oluyoruz.

Karakterin zaman içinde gelişen stili, anlatı içinde de bir dönüşümü işaret etmekte. İlk sezonlarda ağırlıklı olarak rahat, erişilebilir ve çoğu zaman vintage parçalar tercih eden Sydney, son sezonlarda daha belirgin bir şekilde tasarımcı parçalarıyla karşımıza çıktı. Paloma Wool montlar, Ganni çanta ve ayakkbılar, belirgin formlar ve daha rafine detaylar, ara ara stilindeki deneyselliği ve geçişleri belli ediyor. Onun stilinin özünde değişmeyen bir şey varsa, o da bireysellik ve samimiyet.
